We offer 4 standard finish categories, all UAE-proven: (1) Ceramic pool tile — 24x24cm or 33x33cm powder-pressed porcelain in Dubai blue, sky, or turquoise (most economical and long-lasting); (2) Glass mosaic — 20x20mm, 25x25mm or 48x48mm Bisazza / Trend / Ezarri (Italian or Spanish) for shimmering jewel-like pools; (3) Pebble or exposed-aggregate plaster finish for resort-style natural lagoons and infinity-edge pools; (4) Natural stone coping — honed Silver Grey Granite, Black Galaxy, or French Pattern Marble (never use soft travertine or marble as wetted interior finish — calcium and UAE mineral scale permanently etches it within 18 months). Our recommendation for 90% of Dubai villas: Porcelain tile interior + Granite coping. It lasts 20+ years with simple AMC care.

For residential swimming pools in Dubai and the northern emirates, we offer three heating technologies ranked by efficiency and popularity: (1) Air-source inverter heat pumps (our top recommendation — COP 5.5–6.2 efficiency; extends swimming season from October to May at approximately AED 180–280/month electricity cost for a 30,000L pool); (2) Solar thermal heating arrays (nearly zero running cost once installed; 8–12 year lifespan; excellent for Emirates Hills and Arabian Ranches villas with large roof areas); (3) Electric resistive heaters (simple but expensive to run — 3× more costly than heat pumps, only selected for small plunge pools and spa overflow circuits). Every heating installation is Wi-Fi-enabled and programmable by phone so your pool is warm when you arrive home.

Leaks in older Dubai swimming pools are extremely common due to ground settlement, concrete shell fatigue, and thermal expansion/contraction over 10+ years. Our leak detection process avoids unnecessary jackhammering: (1) Static water-level bucket test to confirm evaporation vs true structural leak (we can confirm this in 24 hours at zero cost); (2) Electronic tracer dye & sonic microphone testing along main drain, return pipes, skimmer, and light niches — maps underground leaks to within ±15cm accuracy without breaking deck; (3) Pressure testing of suction and return lines to isolate specific pipes or fittings; (4) If the shell itself is suspected, we visually inspect the tile grout network for microscopic fissures. It depends on pool usage, bather load, tree coverage, and whether you have an automated in-floor cleaning system. Our standard Bi-Weekly AMC (2 visits per month) is sufficient for 80% of Dubai residential villas with moderate usage (3–5 bathers per week, minimal leaf fall). The Weekly AMC is required for pools: (a) in Emirates Hills / Jumeirah Islands / Palm Jumeirah Frond villas with dense date palm and neem tree coverage; (b) pools used daily by children or large families; (c) commercial pools and community clubhouses. Every AMC visit includes exactly the same 14-point checklist: surface skimming, floor vacuum, wall brushing, tile waterline scrub, skimmer/weir/pump/leaf baskets emptied, filter backwash or cartridge clean, pressure gauge calibration, 6-parameter water test (pH/TA/CH/TDS/chlorine/CYA), chemicals balanced to Dubai Municipality public pool standards, equipment room check for pump noise and seal leaks, O-ring greasing, and a signed visit report sent by WhatsApp. Chemicals are included in every contract tier — no surprise top-up charges.

Both are chlorine-based sanitisers but are used for completely different purposes. SDIC 56% (Sodium Dichloroisocyanurate) is a fast-dissolving granular chlorine that dissolves in 2–3 minutes — ideal for weekly shock treatments, green-pool recovery, algae eradication, and after-heavy-use superchlorination. TCCA 90% (Trichloroisocyanuric Acid) is a hard-pressed slow-dissolving tablet (200g hockey puck or 20g mini puck) that dissolves over 3–7 days in your pool skimmer or in-line chlorine feeder — designed for continuous daily maintenance chlorine residual. Our AMC teams use BOTH in combination: TCCA tablets for steady low residual (1.5–3 PPM) plus a monthly SDIC shock for combined chloramine destruction. Never substitute one for the other — using SDIC as daily maintenance is expensive and causes wild pH swings. Using TCCA for a shock will take 48 hours to dissolve and algae will win.
